The Program Manager reflects the mission vision and values of NM adheres to the organizations Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program and complies with all relevant policies procedures guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
The Program Manager will primarily lead planning and implementation activities for the Bronzeville Community Space located within the Bronzeville Outpatient Center. This will include developing work plans and metrics the monitoring of work plans and metrics to assure activities are on-time and on-budget coordinating the internal and external resources to execute activities and completing activities as assigned. The Program Manager will work closely with managers directors and clinicians to develop work plans metrics and resources to achieve the departments strategic goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and support management operations for the Bronzeville Community Space located within the Bronzeville Outpatient Center.
- Provide leadership guidance for the Community Space Coordinator and ensure an exceptional customer-guest experience.
- Actively interact and engage with community members and partner organizations to identify solutions share NM program offerings and to promote opportunities in partnership with NM.
Key duties:
- Flexible schedule to work some evenings or weekends for community & student-focused activities. Approximately 3-5 times a month.
- Provide operational leadership of community space to include front desk operations reservation management and program calendar management.
- Ensure team members respond to service requests on a timely basis and maintain service quality levels that are in accordance with NM standards.
- Focus on expanding community engagement activities and maintaining communications with Bronzeville community members to include residents businesses civic and non-profit community organizations.
- Oversee monthly development of community programming calendar; Partner with Bronzeville Operations as well as civic / non-profit community organizations to identify relevant and impactful clinical and health education programming opportunities based on community need.
- Where possible work with NM Marketing team to promote community programming that is in line with NM brand standards.
- Provides operational leadership of community demonstration kitchen including oversight for compliance activities supply ordering and managing inventory levels.
- Managing quality performance metrics to measure community feedback / perceptions and to drive improvement regarding program offerings.
Qualifications :
Required:
- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration Healthcare Management Communications or related field.
- Strong Knowledge of Microsoft: Word Excel Power Point Project
- Demonstrated project management and organizational skills demonstrated analysis and problem-solving skills excellent oral and communication skills demonstrated ability to effectively establish and maintain working relationships with peers and constituents at all levels of the organization.
Preferred:
- Masters degree in MBA or MHA preferred (required in place of work experience).
- Minimum of five years experience in a healthcare environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse group of healthcare professionals constituencies and coalitions including hospital leadership community-based organizations FQHCs schools the local department of public health and city and county leaders.
- Experience managing large complex projects.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with community health needs assessments including data interpretation strategic planning to address identified needs program implementation and program evaluation.
- Familiarity and knowledge of health care needs and services in hospital service area
- Responsible for developing and managing health programming that is evidence-based and aligned with the hospital-specific community health needs assessments.
- Ensures that programming achieves intended outcomes and reports progress to Program Director.
