Job Description
Delivery and pickup of freight in and around Peace River are performed promptly and safely. Driving a straight truck. This is a full-time day position working Monday to Friday. Flexibility is required. Secure freight while loading the truck for delivery and at the point of pick-up.
Some dock work is required
Pre-trip mid-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck.
Home every night local pick-up and deliveries in the Peace River area.
Qualifications :
- Class 5 license
- 1 year of delivery experience
- Forklift experience is an asset
- Physically fit
- Knowledge of the local area is an asset
- Must be willing to relocate to Peace River if applying from outside the local area
- ELD and handheld experience is an asset
- Reliable and dependable
- TDG WHMIS and Forklift experience are an asset
- Must be able to provide a criminal record check drivers abstract and 2 work-related references
