Job Description
Were looking for a Data Engineering Manager who can partner with our clients to unlock the full potential of their data. In this role you will lead onshore and offshore teams to design implement deploy and support a wide range of data solutions across our large enterprise clients.
In this role you will work in a complex multi-vendor environment collaborating with various teams to provide delivery and technical expertise to our clients as a trusted advisor. We will value your thought leadership in the field of data management and cloud delivery as well as your desire to make a positive impact by working with our clients to upskill their teams improve delivery and achieve outstanding outcomes.

Qualifications :
- Previous experience in a similar role as a Data Engineering Manager or Technical Data Delivery Lead.
- Strong consulting problem-solving and leadership skills with the ability to manage blended onshore and offshore teams.
- Experience developing and implementing data solutions at an enterprise level.
- Experience with modern cloud-based data platforms that enable scalable analytics such as Databricks Snowflake or Big Query.
- Applied knowledge of CI/CD concepts and deployment of data solutions.
- Knowledge of database architecture administration integration and development.
- Data modelling skills including a strong foundation in data warehousing concepts data normalization and dimensional data modelling.
- Experience in leveraging cloud-based data analytics platforms such as AWS serverless architecture in Lambda on AWS DynamoDB EMR Data Lakes.
- Prior experience building large-scale enterprise data pipelines using commercial or open-source Big Data or NoSQL platforms.
- Data Integration quality migration visualization experience with tools such as PowerCenter SSIS ETL development Informatica Data Quality etc.
- A current Databricks certification or the ability to obtain one with 3 months of commencing in the role.
- Previous experience in banking is highly desirable.
