Our team within Info org is responsible for defining and delivering engaging natural conversational and proactive experiences with easy-to-understand and content rich information that is relevant to every customer and optimized for every modality.
As a front-end engineer on the team you will get to collaborate with product managers UX designers senior and peer-level software engineers across AGI (including the Information and Gen AI teams) and Information technical stack to bring to life state of the art AGI experiences. This role provides you with autonomy and ownership on decisions working backwards directly from customers. There is ample opportunity for growth due to the high visibility work and presence of senior engineering talent for guidance and mentorship. You will leverage technical skills like front-end development and end-to-end system design with resiliency.
Key job responsibilities:
- Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary Amazonians to build state of the art experiences
- Design and code the right solutions starting with broadly defined problems.
- Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software.
- 4 years of non-internship professional front end web or mobile software development using JavaScript HTML and CSS experience - 5 years of front-end developer creating prototypes or wire-frames for enterprise web applications or workflows experience - Experience developing with MVC/MVM frameworks (e.g. AngularJS Vue)
- Knowledge of web services technologies such as SOAP HTTP WSDL XSD and REST - Experience in a broad range of software design approaches and common UX patterns.
