As one of the fastest-growing warehousing and logistics companies in North America were looking forMaterials Technicians for our 3rd Shift who will beresponsible for ensuring that material is shipped to the customer in a timely manner ensuring shipping orders are not delinquent.

Our 3rd Shift schedule is Monday - Thursday from 7:15pm - 5:45am with daily and weekend overtime as required.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Manage inventory using a Min-Max method.
  • Determine inbound windows to ensure a smooth flow of material.
  • Maintain the layout for all material received and manage material flow using scanning technology to route and deliver Material.
  • Manage returnable containers to suppliers.
  • Manage engineering change process to ensure breakpoints are achieved.
  • Participate and engage in continuous improvement activities.
  • Communicate and interact with internal and external customers to resolve issues.
  • Complete weekly layered audits.
  • Monitor supplier non-conformance and issue PRRs accordingly.
  • Monitor inbound loads for timelines and update materials records.
  • Monitor and measure inventory via cycle counting and 4 wall inventory count.
  • Work and communicate with customers and Material department to ensure the delivery of parts.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Warehouse and Inventory experience required
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel is required
  • Great communications skills both verbal and written
  • Knowledge of SAP is preferred
  • Knowledge of ERP/WMS systems is preferred
