The University of Kansas Cancer Center (KUCC) is seeking to recruit a full time academic clinical physician with demonstrated interest in lung cancer. This candidate will support the departmental mission of delivering the highest quality of care as well as satisfying teaching research and academic responsibilities at the regions quaternary referral center.
The Medical Oncology Division provides compassionate state-of-the-art medical care to cancer patients; developing novel therapeutic and treatment options through clinical translational and molecular research; and educating and training the fields next generation of cancer experts with 36 faculty members dedicated to developing innovative treatments for these patients.
The University of Kansas Health System is a National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer center the only one in Kansas and 1 of only 54 in the United States and for the 12th year KUCC has been listed among the nations top 50 by U.S. News & World Report making us the only cancer program in the region to receive this recognition.
