Job Description
Location: Longfellow Hotel Portland ME
Schedule: Part-Time 25 hours per week
Shift: 6AM 3PM M T W
Pay Rate: $21.00/hour
Were looking for a reliable and motivatedMorning Line Cook to join our culinary team! This part-time position is ideal for early risers who are passionate about food and thrive in a fast-paced team-oriented kitchen. Youll help us provide high-quality breakfast and lunch service to our guests maintaining high standards for food preparation safety and presentation.
KeyResponsibilities:
Prepare and cook breakfast and lunch items according to established recipes and standards
Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies before service begins
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations
Ensure proper food handling storage and sanitation procedures are followed
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service
Assist with inventory management
Adapt to special requests with flexibility and attention to detail
Qualifications:
Prior kitchen or line cook experience preferred especially in breakfast/brunch service
ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain
Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
