Job Description
Senior Software Engineer
8 Month W2 Contract
San Jose San Francisco CA or Lehi UT (hybrid)
Heres how youll make an impact on the team:
- Build enhance and maintain the website for Adobe Express.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams including Business owners product management product teams IT and vendors.
- Work with multiple teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions needed to build innovative web solutions.
- Research tools technologies and software development processes and propose innovative pioneering solutions.
- Collaborate with other team members and contributors to the code base to properly identify problems being faced and to arrive at the best possible solutions.
- Act as a custodian for the shared codebase reviewing contributions made by other teams to ensure that proper tests are written established conventions are followed and backwards compatibility is maintained.
- Test and debug issues across multiple systems and domains
Heres what youll need to be successful in this role:
- License or advanced programming degree and 5 years proven experience with web development.
- Experience in working with highly trafficked scalable web applications.
- Expertise in HTML5 CSS3 and ES6.
- Experience with NodeJS module bundlers task runners and code compilers.
- Expertise with developing for class A web browsers while maintaining graceful degradation.
- Deep understanding of DOM accessibility standards and SEO concepts.
- Mastery in writing performant code understanding functional asynchronous programming and responsive development.
- Experience writing extensive unit tests using automated TDD tasks.
- Experience with CMS technologies like Adobe Experience Manager or Adobes Edge Delivery Service is a plus.
- License or advanced programming degree and 5 years proven experience with web development.
- Proficiency in English excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Pay Range:
$80.00 - $88.00/hour
