The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense & Space (BDS) is seeking a motivated Senior Project Engineer to support the V-22 program Project Engineering team located in Ridley Park PA. The selected candidate will report to the V-22 Project Engineering team. Position Responsibilities:
Responsible for total aircraft bill of material assurance. This position would be required to support V-22 aircraft fabrication assembly functional test delivery center operations and delivery flight testing.
Responsible for initial components for baseline factory operations and emergent requirements due to (but not limited to) supplier shortages notice of escapement mitigation failed components damaged components etc.
This position requires excellent knowledge of factory operations methods and personnel excellent understanding of supply chain mechanics and part requirement generation.
Strong interpersonal communication skills are essential for success in this position.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. US Person includes US Citizen lawful permanent resident refugee or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience): Provide REQUIRED skills/experience candidates must have to be considered.
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology) chemistry physics mathematicsdata science or computer science.
Level 4 - Bachelors degree and 9 years experience or Masters & 7 years
Level 5 - Bachelors degree and 14 years experience or Masters & 12 years
5 years of experience in engineering
5 years of experience working in a team-oriented environment with multiple engineering stakeholders
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills & Experience): Provide any preferred skills.
8 years of experience working with or on an engineering team. (Level 5)

Experience supporting aircraft fabrication assembly functional test delivery center operations and delivery flight testing
Experience working with US Department of Defense (DoD) customers or international Defense customers.
1 years working in a leadership capacity (e.g. project/program lead team lead SEIT focal etc.)
