**Job Title:** Private Duty Attendant / Provider / Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.)
**Location:** Cameron County
**Job Type:** Part-time / Per Diem (Specify as applicable)
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Private Duty Attendant / Provider / Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide personalized care and assistance to clients in their homes or facilities ensuring their safety comfort and overall well-being. As a Private Duty Attendant you will work closely with clients and their families to meet individual needs and promote a high quality of life.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide personal care services including assistance with bathing grooming dressing and toileting.
- Support clients with mobility transfers and ambulation to prevent falls and injuries.
- Assist with medication reminders and monitoring of health conditions as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Prepare and deliver nutritious meals ensuring dietary needs and preferences are met.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities and companionship to enhance mental and emotional well-being.
- Monitor and document clients health status behaviors and changes reporting concerns to family members and healthcare providers as necessary.
- Maintain a clean safe and orderly living environment for clients.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams family members and other caregivers to implement care plans tailored to individual client needs.
- Comply with all state and federal regulations including maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
- Attend training sessions and staff meetings as required.
**Qualifications:**
- Current Certification as a Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) in insert state.
- Previous experience in home health care elderly care or a similar setting preferred.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation may be required depending on client locations.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred or required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate and patient-centered approach.
- Ability to lift and transfer clients as well as perform physical tasks associated with caregiving.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.
