The Boeing Companys 787 Airframe Engineering group is currently seeking a Project Management Specialist to join their team in North Charleston SC!
This position will focus on supporting 787 Airframe Fuselage Engineering Team.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Performs project tasks that meet identified requirements by application of or in accordance with accepted project management standards in the industry (e.g. PMI Project Management Body of Knowledge PMBOK ANSI and ISO standards).
- Provides reports project status and change information to project team per established processes and communicates plan changes and recovery plans to others.
- Uses negotiating skills by engaging with specific organizational and project task owners to improve project performance commitments.
- Responsible for the development and update of task specific plans deliverables and schedules.
- Responsible for facilitating engineering review board meetings
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
- Bachelors degree or higher
- Experience in a role requiring project / program management skills
- Experience using the following Microsoft Office Applications: Word Excel PowerPoint and Project
- Experience interacting with business partners and customers
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience working in an aircraft production environment
- Experience in aircraft certification configuration management and/or change management
- Program Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
