Join us in our fantastic role of Assistant Development and Delivery Manager supporting us to build the right homes in the right places for our customers. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to develop your skills as you support us to deliver our new-homes development programme for the Scotland region. Youll be assisting in the delivery of our mixed tenure schemes on time and to budget ensuring that an excellent offer for our customers and communities always lies at the heart of delivery.

Typical day as an Assistant Development and Delivery Manager

• Working alongside our Development & Delivery colleagues across a number of sites primarily in Scotland. Youll carefully managing income and expenditure assisting in the delivery of our schemes against key performance targets.
• Youll help manage and deliver projects including managing project appraisals data analysis cashflows contract programmes scheme budgets document management site inspections and property handovers.
• Youll use your fantastic interpersonal skills to sustain good relationships with developers contractor partners and internal teams.

Youll work alongside our award-winning team who are winners of the 2018 UK housing awards Development Programme of the year and achieved silver for best house at the What House Awards 2018 (bronze in 2017).

You bring

• A great knowledge of residential led development project management and the planning system delivering against design standards.
• Youll ideally have some previous experience in the delivery of new homes on site but more importantly bring a passion and willingness to learn all aspects of land/development and professional project management.
• Good organisational and excellent written skills being able to write clear and concise reports.
• An eye for detail be a self-starter and have a win-win mentality to deliver a brilliant service.

Youll report to Elaine our Senior Development and Delivery Manages who is passionate about delivering market leading homes of the highest quality for our customers.

Job details

• Working Monday to Friday youll shape your own diary around work and your own commitments. If you need to nip out to walk the dog or do the school run were ok with that!
• This is a hybrid role so youll spend two days in our office at Glasgow the rest working at home. Some days you may also be required to work on our development sites where required.
• You must be able to use technology for managing and delivering projects online learning and collaborating with colleagues.
