Plumbing and Heating Engineer
- Salary: 41740 plus Benefits and additional allowances.
- Field-based with regular travel across Somerset.
- Hours: 39 hours per week (Mon - Fri)
- Permanent Role.

The role & what you take care of:
We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Gas Safe registered Plumbing and Heating Engineer with experience to join the Magna team. From the initial job report to its completion you will play a key part in delivering works to a high standard whilst meeting our customers needs and complying with current legislation. The role encompasses a diverse and rewarding working routine with great benefits a company van uniform and all trade relevant power tools supplied.
- The purpose of this role is to carry out central heating works including installation and servicing to diagnose faults and resolve heating/plumbing related problems to a high standard.
- You will be required to be on call once every 6 weeks for which you will receive a generous standby allowance.

What you need to be successful:
- Together with a high level of fault-finding ability & diagnostic skills you will feel comfortable working independently or as part of a team committed to overcoming any scenarios that may arise on a daily basis.
- Ideally experience of Social Housing or working in a similar environment would be advantageous although alternative sectors will be considered.
- Understanding how to use a mobile iPad device together with a geographical knowledge of the Dorset & South Somerset area would be preferential.
This post is subject to a basic level Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check. A full driving licence is essential.
