Job Duties

The Titling Work Leader ensures the operational efficiency and compliance of the Titling Work Center by managing workflows mentoring staff and overseeing the resolution of complex cases. This role processes high-complexity title applications conducts quality assurance reviews and serves as the escalation point for operational and customer-related issues. Manages title paper decal and plate inventory reconciles financial transactions and responds to a high volume titling support inquiries from DMVs internal external private and public partners. The Work Leader provides technical guidance to staff supports management in meeting operational goals and drives continuous improvement to ensure accuracy compliance and high-quality service delivery.

Minimum Qualifications

Strong knowledge of DMV titling processes policies and regulatory requirements.
Advanced analytical and critical thinking skills to evaluate complex cases and make sound decisions.
Excellent reading comprehension to interpret legal documents such as wills trusts and court orders ensuring compliance with regulations.
Exceptional attention to detail to maintain accuracy in title transactions financial reconciliations and regulatory documentation.
Proficiency in technology including Microsoft Word Excel and DMV-specific software platforms.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to train staff address escalated issues and collaborate across teams.

Additional Considerations

Familiarity with DMV systems including document management platforms.
Advanced skills in using spreadsheet and presentation tools for reporting and analysis.
Progressive experience in a supervisory or team leadership capacity.

Background Check: Must pass a fingerprint-based background check.
Licensure: Must possess a valid drivers license with no less than 6 demerit points and no major convictions.
