About This Role:
Are you a highly skilled and versatile craftsperson with a passion for transforming artistic concepts into stunning realities At NEXT were looking for a dedicated Set Builder to join our dynamic team based at our BUZZ Studio in Leighton Buzzard. You will play a crucial role in bringing our creative visions to life.
In this role youll be instrumental in executing a wide range of construction and finishing tasks from intricate carpentry to detailed scenic painting. Youll work hand-in-hand with our creative and production teams applying your expertise to ensure every design detail is flawlessly executed and every set piece is built to the highest specifications.
You will:
- Execute a variety of construction tasks from carpentry to scenic painting.
- Operate workshop and hand machinery with high proficiency.
- Work from design specs to produce high-quality set pieces.
- Collaborate with the design team to understand and meet project visual requirements.
- Manage time effectively to meet production deadlines.
About You:
- Versatile skill set in building and finishing techniques.
- Experience in scenic painting carpentry tiling wallpapering and plastering.
- Ability to follow complex instructions and detailed design plans.
- Adept at multitasking and adjusting to shifting priorities.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
- Dedicated to quality and precision in all aspects of work.
