Job Description
Youre interested in shaping the digital future of Europes leading retail group and building our cutting-edge cloud and colocation business from scratch Then you will fit right in as a Cloud OpenStack Engineer (m/f/d) at STACKIT. Were a young corporate startup for digital services from colocation to cloud. As part of the Schwarz Group which also owns the Lidl and Kaufland retail brands we strive to shape the European cloud market in the long run. To realize this vision we are looking for STACKITeers (m/f/d) who contribute their innovative ideas and go-getter mindset to tackling future challenges.
What Youll Do
- You support the development of a high-performance cloud platform with a focus on the Content Delivery Network (CDN) service
- You are responsible for the operation and further development of the Content Delivery Network Service in the STACKIT Cloud
- You ensure efficient automation and continuous optimization of the technical processes
- You create and maintain the professional documentation as well as the connection of monitoring and logging for stable operation of the solution
- You are part of a motivated agile team that always strives for improvements and continuously develops itself (and the products)
What Youll Need
- You are a team player and have ideally already worked in an agile DevOps team for some time
- You have passion and enthusiasm for new technologies and topics related to CDNs
- You are familiar with CI/CD pipelines DevOps and Infrastructure as Code
- You have in-depth experience in the areas of microservices network technology security and cloud solutions
- Ideally you have some initial knowledge of setting up and operating CDNs
- You have knowledge of consuming and serving public APIs
- You have a working knowledge of golang terraform and postgres
- You already have experience with virtualization and containerization environments
- You have successfully completed a degree in IT or have a comparable qualification
- You have good German and English skills
