To strengthen our team in the area of Facility Management at the Trier plant we are looking for an Energy Manager (m/f/d) in permanent employment.
Your job mission:
As Energy Manager (m/f/d) you are the first point of contact for all internal and external contacts in relation to energy. You optimize energy consumption by recording and analyzing the energy flows and energy sources at Trier site to subsequently derive and evaluate optimization options and initiate improvement projects.

Your tasks:
Create Energy consumption forecasts
Collect data carry out energy assessments and capacity calculations perform statistical analyses and consolidation interpret and report on energy data as well as strategic planning
Optimize energy use (energy efficiency energy reduction CO2-creation intensity) by developing and planning of projects as well as increasing the efficiency of existing systems
Support responsible parties in the company in all energy-related topics
Support ASP projects and operational KPIs in terms of safety quality service and costs and identify areas for improvement
Collaborate in definition of energy targets and the action plan
Maintain and further develop energy monitoring
Be first contact for energy and utility companies and suppliers
Your profile:
Relevant educational background: University degree in engineering energy economics or comparable qualification
Practical experience: At least 5 years of experience in a similar function preferably in the FMCG industry
Valuable knowledge: Expert knowledge in the energy and process sector as well as the relevant laws regulations and standards in the relevant areas
Special strengths: Analytical skills as well as knowledge in energy data acquisition and evaluation as well as good project management skills as well as strategic thinking; fluent in German and English
Suitable personality: Strong communication and presentation skills
