Job Description
Summer Academy Coordinator (Career Related Learning) - 2025 (Grant Funded)
Position:
Burlington Summer Academy offers 65 students an opportunity for career related learning. We are seeking operational support for program logistics.
Location:
Burlington High School Burlington MA
Description:
- Conduct morning attendance
- Report absences - Call home for absent students
- Liaison with contacts at other school locations to check on bus pickups.
- Assist with reporting student outcomes parent communication college intern communication and student paperwork.
- Arrange for refreshments or program materials needed.
- Liaison with field trip location leaders for Friday field trips and a trip to UMass Lowell July 25 - July 30.
- Program dates: July 7 - July 30 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. This roles hours would be 8:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. onsite at Burlington High School.
Requirements:
- Spreadsheets Communication skills via email and phone strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Expertise with ParentSquare and Aspen are preferred.
Compensation:
In accordance with the Burlington Educator Association Unit A contract at $40 per hour.
