Basic Job Functions:
- Managing inventory of maintenance supplies and parts
- Parts procurement and Processing vendor invoices
- Keeping detailed records of maintenance requests work orders and completed repairs
- Generating reports on maintenance costs and expenditures
- Assist in scheduling maintenance tasks and coordinating with technicians
- Updating maintenance databases and software
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate lead and uphold safety policies practices procedures and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Experience with CMMS
- Experience in a relevant field including industrial maintenance or facility management
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SAP computer software
- Prior experience in a maintenance planner role
- Degree in business management or related field
