The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Product Specialist to join the team in Renton WA; Berkeley MO; or Hazelwood MO.
The Senior Product Specialist is an integral member of the Human Resources (HR) Information Technology (IT) product management team in timekeeping absence management payroll and their connected systems. Candidate in this role leads the activities to define and manage product strategy features and actionable plans to deliver them. The Senior HR IT Product Manager will actively collaborate with multiple HR stakeholders to shape timekeeping and absence management capabilities leveraging existing products and lead transformational activity to move these capabilities into newer market-leading products.
Position Responsibilities:
Collaborates with Human Resources function on providing systems capabilities on timekeeping and absence management
Mentors Information Technology teams on timekeeping concepts and standards and leads timekeeping projects
Uses experience and technical proficiency to gather requirements design develop test and implement solutions based on business requirements and industry standards
Collaborates with onsite and offshore application services vendors teams to ensure timely delivery to requirements with quality
Builds integration using standard integration tool sets and performs Unit Test & Functional Tests
Gathers and evaluates end user requirements
Understands the implications of implementation choices made
Collaborates with various IT product teams and partners with cross-functional teams to ensure and deploy cohesive system solutions
Performs system functionality testing in support of integrations & implementations
Diagnoses and resolves system incidents supporting a full lifecycle of change management processes
BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5 years of experience in Timekeeping Absence Management and/or Payroll business functions and applications supporting them
5 years experience in managing product backlog in Azure DevOps
3 years of experience in product management functions in the areas of business engagement refining business requirements defining technology capabilities managing product roadmaps and delivering solutions
3 years of experience in managing product delivery with US onsite and global/offshore teams
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience with Enterprise Timekeeping System (ETS)
Experience with Absence Management functions
Experience in interacting with executive leadership
