Tessera is seeking a hard-working and dedicated Tractor Operator with a positive attitude.
Typical duties include but are not limited to:
Holding objects for a skilled trade craftsman (i.e. assisting with positioning a pipe structural members and equipment).
Supplying a skilled trade craftsman with tools and materials.
Installing fastening hardware such as nuts bolts washers etc.
Operating hand tools such as wrenches to join or fasten equipment and/or materials to perform simple tasks of a trade.
Sweeping debris removal.
Manually removing paint from fasteners or structures.
Manually moving and transporting furniture equipment and materials.
Physically relocating and temporarily fastening to overhead air hoses electrical cables and flexible ventilation.
Loading and unloading palletized materials.
Provide services required protecting health supplies grounds and real property with regard to control of insects rodents and other pests.
Maintain professionalism in both appearance and demeanor.
Qualifications:
Six (6) months of tractor operator experience preferred.
Must be able to work in elevated areas confined spaces and on/off ladders.
Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements:
Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. The physical demands of this position may be reasonably accommodated for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a case-by-case basis.
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
May be required to reach kneel walk stand and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.
Work may require repetitive motion reaching lifting kneeling and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time climbing in and out of a vehicle and up and down stairs may also be required.
Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.
Requirements:
A valid state drivers license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tesseras insurance.
