Job Description
CPA Firm in Somerset County is seeking a Direct Hire Tax Professional. Candidates should have experience in accounting and preparation of individual and business income taxes. Work in a small friendly professional environment.
Responsibilities Include:
*Interaction with clients both individual and business
*Ability to prepare federal state and local tax returns (S)
*Strong Lacerte software experience both online and desktop
*Strong QuickBooks knowledge and expertise both desktop and online versions
*Preparing and reviewing a full set of workpapers
*Performing other accounting duties and supporting junior staff as required or assigned
Senior Tax Accountant Requirements:
*4-5 years of relevant experience
*CPA or parts passed is a plus
*Bachelors degree in accounting
*Working knowledge of tax regulations
*Strong communication skills both written and verbal
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office
*Ability to train and manage staff
Salary Range: $70000-$100000/year
