Our challenge

We are looking for a candidate who will be responsible fordesigning implementing and managing the software development lifecycle using Azure DevOps includes automating processes managing infrastructure and ensuring the reliability security and performance of work closely with development operations and other teams to streamline workflows and improve the overall software delivery process.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law the base salary for this role if filled within Weehawken NJ is$125k - $130k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage continuous delivery systems and methodologies on AWS and Azure platforms.
• Design manage and maintain tools to automate operational processes.
• Develop and maintain configuration management and orchestration tools.
• Ensure scalability reliability and performance of our infrastructure.
• Monitor and optimize system performance reliability and availability.
• Monitor and respond to incidents perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with software engineers to design and deploy applications.
• Develop and maintain documentation for processes and procedures.
• Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with the development team to streamline code deployment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or GCP.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python Ruby or Shell scripting.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins GitLab CI/CD CircleCI).
• Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g. Docker Kubernetes).
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools (e.g. Terraform Ansible).
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g. ELK stack Prometheus Grafana).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and principles.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
