Job Description
Position Title: High School Science Teacher with coaching duties
Location: Franklin High School
Salary Range: Base Local Stipend
Length of Work Year: 10 months
Position Starts: August 2025
Position Summary;
Teacher will work closely with the High School Science team to implement the TEKS and other programs according to state local and federal guidelines and procedures.
Position Requirements
Education/Certification/License: Valid Texas Secondary Composite Science or other appropriate Texas certification
Experience: High School Science teaching experience preferred / not required / Proficient with technology (computer projector document camera software and other related programs).
Duties/Responsibilities
- Provide effective instruction in Science at the secondary level
- Meet and exceed state / campus goals for student performance
- Maintain orderly classroom
- Facilitate and monitor testing procedures related to instruction.
