Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: Lisburn
Salary: Up to 40000 depending on experience
A fantastic opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join an industry leader in their field. Reporting to the Design Manager youll be part of a dynamic team delivering high-quality innovative design solutions from concept to production.

The Role
- Lead or contribute to the design of products from concept to design freeze using SolidWorks
- Create detailed 3D models and technical drawings
- Work closely with prototyping testing and implementation teams
- Participate in design reviews technical validations and compliance processes
- Ensure all products meet regulatory and functional requirements
- Generate and maintain full design documentation and records
- Support project planning timelines and resource allocation
- Assist with technical support and product improvements post-launch
The Person
- Degree-qualified in Product Design Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a product development or mechanical design role
- Proficient in SolidWorks and familiar with CAD data management tools
- Strong understanding of materials and manufacturing processes (plastics and metals)
