Role Description
Were looking for a passionate and driven journalism student to help us scale the volume of local news content. This remote-based temporary role is ideal for someone eager to gain experience leveraging AI tools to deliver impactful journalism content. Youll be on the front lines of a new model for local journalism. One that combines editorial judgment with AI efficiency to reach communities faster better and more affordably.
Job requirements
What Youll Do
Publish a high volume of local news stories using AI-assisted workflows
Select and add timely relevant topics based on community interest
Ensure your sites hit daily/weekly publishing and engagement targets
Maintain journalistic integrity while embracing digital speed and scale
Take ownership of several local news sites
Youre a Great Fit if You
Are proficient in English and your native/local language
Thrive in a fast-paced digital-first environment
Are currently studying journalism and are passionate about the craft
Want hands-on experience running local news operations
Are curious self-motivated and results driven
