About the position
Councils Family Health Support Services Department is looking for a Community Transport Officer.
The main responsibilities will include:
- Driving the bus for the Community Transport program which takes passengers on regular trips to a variety of locations including shopping centres senior clubs the Frankston Library the Peninsula Aquatic Recreation Centre and exercise programs
- Driving the bus for the Social Support Group Outings program and participating in social outings along with passengers and a volunteer
- Provide high levels of customer service and support
- Undertake administrative duties to ensure smooth running of the service
This is a part time role working 30.4 hours per week over 4 days per week.
About you
- Experience driving a bus;
- Ability to provide safe friendly and supportive service to passengers including older people and people with a disability;
- Current Victorian heavy vehicle driver licence minimum Light Rigid (LR) category; and
- Current driver accreditation to drive a commercial passenger vehicle.

This position is a Band 4remunerated at $74536.73 (pro-rata) plus superannuation.
