Job Description
Our client a respected and well established construction company is seeking an Intermediate Accountant to join their busy team. You will be pursuing the CPA designation and have 3-5 years progressive experience in accounting.
Those with exposure to Sage software will be given preference.
Reporting to the Sr leadership team your duties will include but not be limited to;
Perform accounting activities including preparation of month-end reconciliations and journal entries
Assist in preparing year-end budgets audit files and financial analyses
Prepare and file GST returns
Prepare and maintain monthly financial reporting records
Track and manage insurance-related documentation
Record and post property closings and maintain accounting activities associated with property management leasing portfolio
Maintain and update asset tracking systems
Support process and system improvements
Other duties and cross functional support as required
