Basic Purpose:
Perform a variety of duties in support of Wire Division Purchasing function. Duties include data entry maintaining of approved supplier profile in SEWSNet and creating purchase orders. Issuance of vendor score cards to suppliers and traceability of vendor risk information. Support to Purchasing Buyers creating PCS sheets required for IPS registration of new components.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create manual purchase orders to support Wire Division for raw material monthly purchases based on buyer request.
- Issue PCS to register wires in IPS review if wire part numbers are registered in MDM00 if not registered request ENG to register in MDM00.
- Maintain IPS that is updated. (Reviews and updates Supplier part numbers MOQ and formal LT in IPS.)
- Request supplier to update information on quotes such as new copper prices.
- Monthly issue of vendor scorecards.
- Send requests to supplier to issue Monthly Copper Surcharges copper rod surcharges and track NPS Return Program.
- Support purchasing buyers with problem invoices.
- Maintain weekly database for all raw materials to help buyers provide cost reduction. Cost Analysis.
- Support buyers in requesting capacity confirmation from suppliers.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma along with 1 year experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Strong Excel skills)
- Ability to work in a team first environment
