What you will do

  • Fire Alarm Systems Responder assists with monitoring basic inspection and initial response to fire alarm events.
  • This role is essential in ensuring safety systems are functioning and coordinating next actions.
  • Our extensive training program includes on-the-job training online courses and instructor-led certification courses by manufacturers.

How you will do it

  • This Fire Service Technician is a 3rd shift role and will also be required to be on-call after scheduled hours.
  • This skilled position involves troubling shooting and repairing installed systems including panel repair/reset device replacement/repair resolving low voltage circuit troubles and system testing.
  • Organize and effectively utilize technical resources information material and support to assure efficient execution of all assigned tasks.
  • Candidate must possess excellent written/verbal communication and outstanding customer service skills.
  • Complete and submit all required task-related activity productivity and other documentation in a timely manner.

What we look for

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Possess a valid drivers license and driving record that meets company requirements.
  • Retain any licenses that are required by National State and Local codes.
  • Able and willing to work 3rd shift hours.
  • Able and willing to work on-call outside of scheduled shifts.
  • Knowledgeable of fire alarm systems.
  • Experience interpreting blueprints diagrams and specifications.
  • Working knowledge of computers.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Able and willing to perform physical labor including carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs.
  • Able and willing to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet working within ducts crawl spaces above ceilings etc.
  • Demonstrate a high level of customer service.
  • Able and willing to adhere to implement and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
  • Strong organizational skills positive attitude and ability to learn quickly.

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $20.58 $30.87 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education experience knowledge skills and abilities of the applicant internal equity and alignment with market data.)
