LPN - LVN Opportunity Enhance Quality Care Through Compassion & Excellence

Key Responsibilities: LPN/LVN Direct Patient Care & Nursing Support

• Carries out the medical plan of care and oversees the Nursing Assistants care of residents
• Administers and records medication treatments and monitoring as ordered
• Accurately transcribes physicians orders
• Completes monthly summaries and updates care plans
• Notifies the RN Supervisor of significant changes in residents condition
• Assists physicians with rounds examinations and treatments
• Supervises and directs resident care by nursing assistants
• Documents weights and vital signs and follows up as needed
• Maintains a clean safe and healthy environment

Qualifications: Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse Certification & Essential Skills

• Current unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of practice.
• High School/GED
• 1 years of experience in ANY of the following:
  • Skilled Nursing Facility Care
  • Senior Care
  • Home Health
• ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
  • American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS)
  • American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS)
• ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Pennsylvania (PA)
  • Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in Pennsylvania (PA)

Schedule and Locations:

• Nights 6PM - 6AM // Two days on // Two days off // Three days on // 84-hours biweekly pay period. Rotating Weekends.
