About the Role

Were seeking a Mid-Level Linux Engineer with strong experience running Kubernetes on edge environments. This role is ideal for someone who understands the unique challenges of distributed systems at the edge; including limited connectivity resource constraints and hardware variability and who can bring reliable Linux and network expertise into production-ready be part of a platform team building resilient scalable edge infrastructure that supports containerized applications in diverse environments

What Youll Be Doing

• Deploy monitor and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters running on edge devices
• Manage and maintain Linux-based systems across remote environments
• Optimize system performance security and network reliability in resource-constrained setups
• Support CI/CD processes and remote configuration management
• Collaborate with infrastructure DevOps and product teams to deliver reliable edge services
• Contribute to automation observability and fleet management of edge nodes

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Kubernetes on Edge: Hands-on experience with lightweight Kubernetes distributions (e.g. K3s MicroK8s) in edge or IoT-like environments
• Linux: Strong command-line skills system tuning logging and troubleshooting
• Networking: Solid grasp of TCP/IP DNS routing NAT and VPN tunneling in unstable or remote network setups
• Security: Familiar with Linux hardening access control and secure communications for distributed environments
• Experience with Git CI/CD pipelines and basic scripting (Bash Python or similar)

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with device management platforms or fleet orchestration tools (e.g. Rancher Fleet OpenYurt KubeEdge)
• Experience with container registries and artifact delivery to edge nodes
• Exposure to monitoring tools like Prometheus Grafana Loki
