Director of Nursing Location: Holyoke MA Schedule: Full-time 40 Hours MA LICENSE MUST BE CURRENT AND ACTIVE AT TIME OF SUBMISSION Leadership experience required Adult and Adolescent inpatient psych experience required MiraVista Behavioral Health Center is seeking health care professionals who inspire. Responsibilities: You are responsible for nursing clinical administration and supervision You will work in collaboration with the Medical Director and Program Director on fiscal management creating and developing clinically sound consumer-oriented services responsive to community need You will actively work with senior management and program staff to provide: policies procedures training budget management and interventions Your contributions will promote sound management high quality outcomes regulatory compliance continuous improvement and long-term fiscal solvency of the programs You are responsible for scheduling orientation problem solving communication staff education and evaluations You will assume delegated responsibilities in the absence of other senior managers Qualifications: Education: RN license within the State of Massachusetts required; BSN required. Experience: Previous psychiatric / substance inpatient experience required. CPR certification required. Restraint Reduction de-escalation / crisis intervention experience required. Skills: The successful candidate will demonstrate ability to use critical thinking to make decisions and solve problems; have an advanced level knowledge of Behavior Health and Substance Abuse treatment modalities; applies nursing process from a Trauma Informed Recovery model of care; ability to develop a therapeutic relationship while maintaining professional boundaries; effective oral and written communication; sufficient typing and computer skills to facilitate use of Electronic Medical Record; crisis management time management delegating coaching and team building skills; and be flexible creative and able to manage stressful situations in a calm organized and professional manner About MiraVista MiraVista Behavioral Health Center is an innovative 84 bed inpatient hospital.
