Full-Time / Direct Hire
Seeking a skilled Professional Land Surveyor with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in construction staking including work with buildings structures GPS and robotic surveying equipment. The role includes both office and field responsibilities with strong involvement in CAD/Civil3D tasks and direct reporting to the VP of Engineering. Candidates must have relevant California field experience and hold a current CA PLS license. Flexible work arrangements (remote hybrid or on-site) are available.
Required Experience & Skills:
- 5 years in the survey-mapping industry
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil3D
- Strong background in construction staking boundary and topographic surveys
- Familiarity with Carlson Software and Leica Systems
- Skilled with Trimble equipment especially 1-person robotic data collection
- Strong math skills and collaborative team attitude
- Experience working in California field conditions
- At least 3 years of journey-level experience managing survey projects
- Proficient with MS Office and survey software including CADD (Civil3D Carlson MicroSurvey) and processing tools (Trimble Business Center StarNet etc.)
- Experience with Digital Terrain Modeling (DTM) GPS data collection/processing least squares adjustments and boundary/topo surveys
- Valid Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) License in California
- Valid California Driver s License
