Job Description
- Location: Fort Worth TX 76104
- Shift: 12 HR Nights 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Compensation: Based on experience
- Provide direct patient care to laboring women including assessment monitoring and support.
- Assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections.
- Monitor fetal heart tones and uterine activity.
- Administer medications and manage epidurals and oxytocin drips per protocol.
- Educate and support patients and families throughout the labor and delivery process.
- Collaborate with physicians midwives anesthesiologists and other team members.
- Document all aspects of care in a timely and accurate manner.
- Respond to obstetric emergencies and assist in rapid intervention protocols.
Education:
-
Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program (required)
Experience:
-
Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery RN experience (required)
Licenses/Certifications:
- RN-Registered Nurse license (State of Texas-required)
- BLS-Basic Life Support (AHA or Red Cross-required within 30 days of hire)
