RN-Labor and Delivery Permanent Role - Location: Waxahachie TX 75165
- Shift: 12 HR Nights 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Compensation: Based on experience
Key Responsibilities: - Perform detailed clinical assessments to identify and prioritize patient and family needs.
- Develop implement and continuously evaluate individualized care plans.
- Recognize potential complications and act promptly to ensure patient safety.
- Build strong therapeutic relationships with patients and families supporting them through labor and delivery.
- Provide patient education to promote informed healthcare decisions and safe postpartum practices.
- Collaborate with physicians midwives and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.
- Delegate tasks appropriately and provide oversight to ensure high standards of care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and learning needs.
- Utilize problem-solving techniques to address patient and team concerns effectively.
- Contribute to team development and foster a positive growth-oriented environment.
- Demonstrate a commitment to community involvement and professional development.

Qualifications: - Graduate of an accredited nursing program. (Required)
- Current RN license in the state of Texas. (Required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire). (Required)
- Previous Labor and Delivery nursing experience.
