Job Description
Address: 5 Nursing Home Dr Claremont NH 03743
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 8-hour varied shifts (40 hours guaranteed)
Pay Rate: $45/hr (W2) $48/hr (1099)
- Monitor resident health and report changes in condition to the supervising nurse and/or physician
- Accurately transcribe and administer medications and treatments per physician orders using electronic documentation systems (MARs/TARs)
- Supervise and guide LNAs in accordance with NH Board of Nursing regulations
- Perform wound care oxygen administration G/J-tube feedings and infection control procedures
- Participate in physician rounds and assist with 60-day reviews and medical documentation
- Complete documentation for admissions discharges transfers and daily resident care activities
- Ensure the nursing unit remains safe clean and compliant with facility and state/federal standards
- Communicate effectively with residents family members and interdisciplinary team members
- Evaluate train and assist in the orientation of new nursing staff
- Manage the unit in coordination with the Nurse Supervisor or Director of Nursing
- Shifts: Varied 8-hour shifts
- Hours/Week: 40 guaranteed
- Weekends: Every other weekend & holiday coverage required
- On-Call: None
- Holiday Availability: Must be willing to work Christmas through New Years if scheduled
- Active LVN/LPN license in New Hampshire or Compact State (must be in-hand at submission)
- IV Certification Required
- BLS Certification (AHA) Required
- Minimum 3 years of recent LTC experience (within last 6 months) Non-negotiable
- Previous travel nursing experience Highly Preferred
- Experience in rural or small facility settings Highly Preferred
- Must have reliable transportation (facility is not accessible by public transit or ride-share services)
- COVID-19 vaccine series and booster Required (no exemptions accepted)
- Must be willing to float as needed
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility (no local travelers)
