About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Open Source Ceph Engineer to join our infrastructure team. In this role you will design deploy and manage distributed storage solutions using Ceph. Youll play a key part in ensuring scalable reliable and high-performance storage systems that support mission-critical services.

Responsibilities:
  • Design implement and maintain Ceph clusters (block object and file storage).

  • Monitor and optimize the performance health and scalability of Ceph storage environments.

  • Collaborate with DevOps SREs and application teams to support storage needs.

  • Troubleshoot complex storage issues ensuring high availability and data integrity.

  • Contribute to open-source Ceph community initiatives (bug fixes documentation testing).

  • Automate storage operations using tools like Ansible Terraform or custom scripts.

  • Develop and maintain internal documentation standards and best practices.
