HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR

• Operate heavy machinery such as excavators telehandlers forklifts backhoes and other heavy equipment to move materials dig trenches and perform site preparation tasks.
• Perform daily safety checks on equipment to ensure machinery is in safe and working condition.
• Transport load and unload materials and equipment from delivery trucks ensuring efficient handling and placement.
• Work with the construction or operations team to complete tasks such as lifting transporting and digging materials for construction maintenance and other projects.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents injuries and damage to equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of machine usage maintenance and repairs.
• Troubleshoot basic issues with machinery and perform minor repairs or coordinate with the maintenance team for major repairs.
• Operate equipment efficiently and effectively to ensure maximum productivity and meet project timelines.
• Assist in grading excavating or other site preparation tasks for construction landscaping or infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure safe and smooth worksite operations.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience operating heavy equipment including excavators telehandlers and other construction machinery (certifications are a plus).
• Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operation and basic maintenance procedures.
• Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in heavy equipment operation.
• Ability to read and interpret basic construction plans and blueprints.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical strength and stamina to handle the demands of operating heavy machinery.

• Certification in operating excavators telehandlers or other heavy equipment (e.g. OSHA NCCCO).
• Previous experience in a construction industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of operating specialized machinery including forklifts cranes and bulldozers.
• Experience in construction landscaping or infrastructure projects.
• Valid UAE License or expired GCC experience preferred.

• Full-time position with possible shift work and overtime depending on project needs.
• Work performed in a variety of weather conditions on job sites potentially in remote locations.
• Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including helmets gloves eye protection and high-visibility clothing.
• May involve manual labor in addition to operating heavy machinery.
