Shift Schedule: 12-hr & 24-hr shifts
Patient Volume: 8-9
Admissions: 0-2
Physicians in Practice: 3 Neonatologists
Support Staff: 6 1 per diem Pediatric APPs
Procedures:
- Ventilation Management Invasive (ETT)
- Non-invasive (BiPAP/CPAP) Chest Tube Insertion
- Exchange Transfusions UAC/UVC placement LPs
- Evaluation & Management of Acute Volume/BP Issues
- Insertion of C-Line and A-Line
- Diagnostic/Therapeutic Taps
Exam Rooms: 16
Beds in the Dept: 16 (NICU)
NICU Level: III
EMR: Epic
Other Info:
- Required to Attend C-Sections
- Required to Cover the Level I (Well-Baby) Nursery
- Will supervise other health care providers such as RNs in the NICU and other ancillary staff as needed
- Must have experience and be comfortable managing patients independently
Travel lodging and malpractice insurance covered
Requirements:
Active NY License
BC
NICU experience is required
