Job Description
As an EMS/SCADA Systems Specialist you will:
- Install maintain and troubleshoot Energy Management Systems (EMS) and SCADA platforms specifically the eTerra suite including Outage Assist and Storm Assist.
- Perform detailed diagnostics and support activities related to customer-specific customizations AEMS and SUV testing.
- Model and configure electrical devices within the EMS environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to ensure optimal grid management and system uptime.
What You Bring to the Table:
- 5 years of experience in implementing and supporting EMS platforms including SCADA AEMS and eTerra-based solutions.
- Proven hands-on expertise in installing analyzing and troubleshooting eTerra DMS and EMS components.
- Familiarity with SCADA and modeling tools and solid experience with both Transmission and Distribution electrical grid configurations.
- Proficiency in working with TCP/IP protocols routing IP addressing LAN DNS Active Directory and firewall configurations.
- Working knowledge of industry standards including NERC CIP compliance.
- Strong communication skills in English (mandatory).
You Should Possess the Ability To:
- Diagnose and resolve advanced system-level and integration issues.
- Independently manage and deliver EMS configuration enhancement and testing assignments.
- Use technical tools to simulate analyze and optimize grid management and control system performance.
- Interpret and model complex electrical device topologies accurately.
