Job Description

As a Customer Support Engineer EMS Platform you will:
  • Provide functional and technical support for utility GRID applications such as SCADA OMS DMS EMS and DERM.
  • Customize software solutions to meet customer-specific requirements in the electric utility domain.
  • Participate in the configuration and implementation of energy management and distribution systems.
  • Support modeling and integration efforts including Common Information Model (CIM) and other model exchange standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality support and solution design for grid applications.
What You Bring to the Table:
  • 5 years of experience in the electric utility industry or in supporting GRID software solutions.
  • Solid functional knowledge of utility applications including SCADA OMS DMS EMS and DERM.
  • Hands-on experience in electrical data modeling and application configuration.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard data models including CIM.
  • Working knowledge of SDLC principles and Agile/Lean methodologies.
  • Strong SQL/PLSQL database skills and software development proficiency.
  • Experience with CI/CD practices product scalability and secure coding standards.
You should possess the ability to:
  • Analyze customer requirements and translate them into effective software configurations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues independently.
  • Design and implement scalable secure and maintainable GRID application solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Adapt to evolving technologies and processes in utility software systems.
