As a Power Systems Engineer Grid Application Modeling you will:
- Contribute to the configuration and modeling of power system applications such as SCADA OMS DMS EMS and DERM.
- Work on data modeling and functional integration of utility GRID applications for power distribution and energy management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement reliable and efficient solutions for utility clients.
- Support the software development lifecycle by contributing to system architecture scalability and application design best practices.
- Apply your knowledge of utility industry standards practices and modeling formats such as CIM.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Over 5 years of experience in the power systems or utility software domain.
- Strong functional and technical expertise in GRID applications such as SCADA OMS DMS EMS and DERM.
- Proficient in electrical data modeling and implementing configurations for power utility applications.
- Practical exposure to CIM and other model exchange formats used in the utility industry.
- Strong software development capabilities especially in structured environments.
- Proficiency in database technologies including SQL and PL/SQL.
- Working knowledge of SDLC and modern software development methodologies such as Agile Lean and CI/CD.
You should possess the ability to:
- Analyze and understand utility-specific modeling needs and deliver accurate software configurations.
- Design develop and troubleshoot scalable power system applications.
- Communicate effectively with teams and stakeholders in both technical and functional domains.
