About the Role:
We are looking for a seasoned and results-oriented Commodity Sales Manager to oversee and execute nationwide bulk sales strategies for our clients rice and margarine product lines across Nigeria. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commodity sales a well-established network of buyers and distributors across the country and a proven ability to drive growth within the Nigerian FMCG or commodity trading sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement national sales strategies for bulk commodity products specifically
rice and margarine.
Manage key accounts and relationships with distributors institutional buyers wholesalers
and B2B clients across the country.
Conduct market analysis to identify trends customer needs and business opportunities
across regions.
Coordinate pricing product availability and distribution strategies in alignment with
company goals.
Collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure seamless delivery and customer
satisfaction.
Prepare regular sales forecasts performance reports and strategic insights for senior
management.
Lead and mentor a team of regional sales executives ensuring KPIs and revenue targets are
met.
Maintain compliance with industry standards and company policies.
Requirements
Minimum of 7 years of experience in commodity sales with strong expertise in rice and margarine product categories.
Demonstrated national sales experience across Nigeria with a strong client portfolio and deep understanding of local market dynamics.
Prior experience working with or for PAL Nigeria is highly desirable.
Proven ability to lead large-scale sales operations and manage multi-regional teams.
Excellent negotiation communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong business acumen and analytical ability to drive data-based decisions.
Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Agriculture or related field; an MBA is an added advantage.
Willingness to travel nationwide as needed.
