Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Store Keeper to support our inventory operations at iNet Africa a leading Internet and IT solutions provider. This role is ideal for a self-motivated individual with at least 2 years of experience in inventory and store management who understands the importance of accuracy organization and efficiency in a fast-paced operational environment. As a Store Keeper you will be responsible for receiving storing issuing and tracking all company materials and equipment. You will work closely with the procurement logistics and technical teams to ensure proper stock levels timely issuance of items and compliance with inventory procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive inspect and record all incoming stock and deliveries.

  • Maintain accurate stock records bin cards and delivery notes.

  • Update and reconcile stock cards and digital inventory records daily.

  • Prepare weekly and monthly stock reports and summaries.

  • Issue materials tools and equipment as per internal requests.

  • Record all stock movements and maintain accountability for issued items.

  • Track returns and assess the condition of returned tools or assets.

  • Ensure proper labeling storage and security of all items.

  • Keep the store clean organized and compliant with safety standards.

  • Monitor and report low stock levels or reordering needs to relevant departments.

  • Collaborate with procurement technical and project teams to forecast and plan stock usage.

  • Support internal and external audits by providing timely and accurate inventory data.

  • Recommend process improvements for inventory control and loss prevention.



Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management Procurement Logistics Business Administration or a related field is highly preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory and store management.
  • Strong knowledge of storekeeping procedures inventory controls and stock documentation.
  • Proficient in using Excel and basic inventory or ERP systems.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain accuracy under pressure.
  • Additional training or certification in Inventory Management Storekeeping or ERP systems is an added advantage
