1 month contract with a local authority
Job Purpose
- The Transforming Care Team works with Adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism. Carrying out statutory Social Work duties such as assessments reviews care and support planning and safeguarding adults work.
Key Duties/Accountabilities
- Look first at what people can do rather than what they cant do and have conversations that identify what is important to the person what matters rather than whats the matter.
- Explore peoples goals and aspirations and the strengths our clients have themselves or have around them to help people stay independent for longer and remain connected to their communities.
Essential Experience Required
- At least two years post-qualification experience working with adults who require support with mental health learning disability and/or autism.
- Knowledge of Mental Capacity Act and Best Interests as well as Court of Protection applications and deprivation of liberty work is preferable.
Essential Qualification Required
- SW Registered qualification is essential.

- Working hours: 35 hours per week.
