It has been a cornerstone of sports and community events since 1942. With 12 sheets of ice three dressing rooms a spacious viewing area and a fully licensed restaurant and lounge the club has hosted everything from recreational leagues to prestigious World Championships. During the warmer months the ice is removed transforming the facility into a versatile venue for events like trade shows and markets. Spanning 27300 square feet the club can accommodate over 1000 people.
They are currently looking for a Building Maintenance and Janitorial Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure the facility remains safe efficient and well-maintained. Reporting directly to the General Manager this full-time role requires a proactive self-motivated leader with a strong work ethic. Responsibilities include managing general maintenance for the building including the ice sheets dressing rooms restaurant/lounge and event spaces. You will handle preventative maintenance cleaning repairs (basic carpentry plumbing electrical HVAC painting) and snow removal. As the successful candidate you ll oversee janitorial services to maintain cleanliness and safety coordinating with contractors for specialized tasks as needed.
You will also assist in budgeting obtaining repair quotes event preparation and maintaining inventory for supplies and tools. Safety will be a key focus with a responsibility to ensure compliance with safety standards and actively participate in safety committee meetings.
