Job Description
We are urgently seeking a highly experienced and talented Senior Application & Cloud Architect to join our Clients team in Brussels. The ideal candidate will lead the design and architecture of sophisticated applications ensuring performance reliability and scalability in cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and design complex enterprise applications primarily in cloud and microservices ecosystems.
- Apply architecture best practices object-oriented principles and design patterns.
- Design and model business processes and applications using advanced modeling tools.
- Ensure interoperability through technology such as web services message-oriented middleware and event-driven architectures.
- Foster integration in a multicultural international environment.
- Deliver high-standard technical presentations and documentation.
- Stay current with fast-evolving application technologies.
Qualifications :
- 10 years experience in Java (J2SE J2EE) and deep familiarity with design patterns.
- 4 years experience in system architecture and information systems design.
- 5 years with Spring and Spring Boot.
- 5 years with relational databases (Oracle PostgreSQL etc.) and SQL.
- 3 years with Tomcat Docker Kubernetes Angular2 (or similar) and Typescript.
- 3 years developing secure web applications.
- 5 years in object-oriented design.
- 2 years in UI development.
- 5 years with Maven (or equivalent).
- 3 years using JIRA and GitLab.
- 3 years designing REST and SOAP web services.
- 2 years working with XML.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture microservices and cloud-native architectures.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and technical writing skills.
- Ability to work in multilingual multicultural teams.
Preferred Certifications:
- Certified DevSecOps Professional (CDP)
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Google Professional Cloud Architect
- Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
