Job Description

Client Relations/Reception (Part time positions) - Greencross Veterinary Centre / Adelaide Veterinary Services & Referral Centre

We are seeking experienced veterinary client relations staff to join our team on a part time basis. You will be the front line of our business - this a fast-paced GP Emergency & Dermatology practice requiring exceptional customer service providing the best client patient experience!

Greencross Vet Centre is a 24hr multi-disciplinary centre offering emergency GP and referral veterinary services. We provide best treatment and care for clients and their pets in a supportive environment for the team. Our team works in a clinical environment equipped with the latest technology to deliver exceptional care for both patients and clients. As members of the Animal Referral and Emergency Network (AREN) and Greencross Vets we are linked with a comprehensive network of veterinarians across Australia spanning across all veterinary disciplines. This collaboration enables our veterinarians to access a wealth of expertise ensuring optimal outcomes for every patient.

As a successful candidate you will demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

  • Provide the best client/patient experience
  • Enjoy a fast-paced workplace and the ability to problem-solve
  • Work closely within your team and alongside other departments
  • Understand the human animal bond
  • Effective communication skills both verbal and written
  • Experience with RX works an advantage
  • Process consent insurance and new client forms
  • Ability to maintain daily administration with an elevated level of accuracy and mindfulness
  • Knowledge of external medical referrals an advantage
  • Develop working relationships with external veterinary practices
  • Ability to prioritise tasks such as managing incoming calls and scheduling appointments
  • Actively participate in quality improvements initiatives risk management & OHS activities
  • Mindfulness and excellent time Management skills and ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work flexible hours between 7am -10pm including some weekend work
