The company Deutsche Telekom Technik GmbH is a 100 percent subsidiary of Telekom Deutschland GmbH and provides the nationwide technical infrastructure of the group. Around 19000 employees at DT Technik plan design build and operate the facilities and systems of the technical infrastructure nationwide on behalf of Telekom Deutschland GmbH. The company implements network projects operates the network technology and if necessary takes over the maintenance of the technical infrastructure.
The Tribe Voice & Messaging is responsible for the design development planning validation and operation of all voice and messaging platforms in DT Techniks fixed and mobile network over their entire lifecycle. We provide innovative reliable state-of-the-art services to our cellular- and landline-based customers.
The scope of a current program is to bring voice & messaging applications into the cloud. Well change the todays model of separated fixed and mobile systems and merge them. Thats why we want you on our team.
Activity description and concrete tasks:
Several design and infrastructure projects are currently underway and you will support their development implementation and validation.
You will also support the regular operation of the current .G solution in the incident problem and change processes.
Qualifications :
Must have skills:
You are characterized by the following knowledge and skills:
- 2-5 years of experience in VOIP systems including relevant communication protocols (e.g. SIP/TLS and RTP/SRTP) and Telecommunications Industry experience (SIP-Trunk) preferred;
- General knowledge of DevOps technologies and tools (e.g. Gitlab Tracing (Wireshark Anritsu) Test Automation (min. basic knowledge);
- Experienced knowledge of Linux
- Experience in incident & problem management;
- Willingness to learn and acquire cloud native/Kubernetes (Cloud Booster) skills if not already present;
- Willingness to participate in On-Call duties outside of normal work hours if necessary;
Nice to have skills
- Experience with ticketing systems;
- ITIL knowledge/experience would be helpful;
- Understanding German would be helpful (optional)

i.e. GitLab Ticket-Systeme Test Automation using Python/behave Anritsu/Wireshark Ribbon SBC Product CSIPG
